Bob Dolman
Describe yourself in one or two sentences:
I have had some great experience as a writer and director in film and television and now I’m old and want young creative people to take over the world and make it amazing. Mentoring and support available.
How did you fall in love with filmmaking?
I didn’t. We just worked together and kept romance separate.
What are your strengths as a filmmaker?
Writing and rewriting.
Name one movie that changed your life:
Besides Muriel’s Wedding you mean? Fellini’s Amarcord. I exploded with joy.
What excites you about Sprouting Pictures?
When I’m in Sweden I get a strong gut feeling that a creative revolution is underway. Sprouting Pictures and its sudden burst of energy and boldness, in a collective of talented people all willing to work together in a spirit of Yesness—is confirming that gut feeling, and if that isn’t exciting then what is!
